X2 ULTRA · RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

AGIBOT X2 Ultra for robotics research and development.

AGIBOT X2 Ultra humanoid robot standing with its arms lowered, front view

A compact humanoid with LiDAR, RGB-D and programmable development interfaces. UK configuration, demonstration planning and support from HRS.

THE ULTRA PLATFORM

From sensing to movement.

The X2 platform with richer sensing, 30 DOF and expanded onboard compute for robot development. The standard 30-DOF version shown here supports secondary development; confirm hardware and firmware compatibility for your project.

Perception for a changing space

3D LiDAR, RGB-D, front stereo RGB and rear RGB cameras provide inputs for mapping and environment perception. Orin NX offers up to 157 TOPS of manufacturer-rated compute.

Navigation with a defined scope

AGIBOT describes route planning and obstacle avoidance for Ultra. These require appropriate software, site preparation and validation against the intended task.

Configuring a demonstration is different from programming new robot behaviour. AGIBOT lists secondary development as unsupported on the base X2. See the manufacturer comparison.

CANDIDATE APPLICATIONS

A platform for practical robotics work.

Robotics research

Develop and evaluate perception, movement and human–robot interaction workflows using the supported development interfaces.

Navigation trials

Test mapping, route planning and obstacle avoidance in a prepared space, with the required software and operator supervision.

University teaching

Connect sensing and motion concepts to a physical platform for practical robotics teaching and student projects.

Interactive demonstrations

Demonstrate how a humanoid responds to its surroundings using a defined scenario, clear boundaries and a human handoff.

Suitability should be established through a trial covering software access, sensing performance, supervision and battery planning.

HRS SUPPORT

Plan the experiment. Prepare the environment.

HRS helps UK teams assess the task, confirm the hardware and software configuration, plan demonstrations and train operators. Deployment support is scoped around the environment and the outcome you want to test.

Bring your sensing requirements, development tools and space constraints to the first conversation.

X2 Ultra FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is AGIBOT X2 Ultra?

AGIBOT X2 Ultra is a 30-DOF bipedal humanoid platform with 7-DOF arms, richer perception hardware and expanded compute for robotics development, demonstrations and research.

How is X2 Ultra different from AGIBOT X2?

X2 has 25 DOF and is intended for demonstrations and interaction. The standard X2 Ultra has 30 DOF, 7-DOF arms, 3D LiDAR, RGB-D and additional RGB cameras, plus Orin NX compute. AGIBOT lists secondary development as supported on Ultra and not supported on the base X2.

What sensors does X2 Ultra use?

AGIBOT lists 3D LiDAR, RGB-D, front stereo RGB and rear RGB cameras for X2 Ultra. The final sensor and software configuration should be confirmed for the supplied unit.

How many degrees of freedom does X2 Ultra have?

The standard X2 Ultra specification lists 30 degrees of freedom, including 7 degrees of freedom in each arm.

Does X2 Ultra support secondary development?

Yes. AGIBOT documents secondary development for X2 Ultra through its AimDK tools. The supplied hardware revision, firmware and development interfaces should be confirmed for your project.

Can HRS arrange a UK demonstration?

Contact HRS with the intended task, environment and timing. We can assess suitability and discuss the configuration and arrangements for a UK demonstration.
